Alaina is too young just yet but when I was a kid I always liked those paper maiche pinatas that you make with balloons :) For awhile Salina really got into cross stitch one winter with me but she was older. Otherwise, I am not crafty at all.

My kids make all of our Greeting Cards. Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthdays. They make em we send em.

I give them each a piece of quality card stock folded in half. They decorate and write everything. They use a variety for decorating them.

I love to do all kinds of crafts with my kids. Not sure which is my favorite yet. Soon I want to start making pottery with clay.

My kids are really into photography right now. They share an inexpensive digital hand me down camera. They do pretty good work too!!!

My daughter likes painting the most. My son likes photography the most.

Taiven loves Spin art...he often gives them as cards and we have a bunch on our walls as well....
we like to use that clay that you bake also and put it on glass candle holders and then bake it after you make a design on it....
Taiven also loved to paint rocks as a toddler...either with real paint or with just water...because once the water dries you can paint it all over again!!!
He was not into finger painting because he hates touching gross things so i would let him use a dropper and then a straw to blow the paint around ont he paper
his fav was those egg carton creatures...either catapillars, or a chick in an egg, a monster guy we used puff balls and pipe cleaner

I don't know is these fall under the arts and crafts but it sure keeps them busy and ignites the senses....water play with frozen blocks of ice from freezing in small containers with toys inside so as they melt you find things inside....salt in a sand table or plastic tub with a ton of things to dig for like beads, army men, bugs, marbles, ninjas etc he would scoop with a spoon in that for HOURS....cornmeal in a sand table it would hold someform like sand does but vaccums up a lot easier than sand! so we had it indoors from age 2-4 used those small gerber bowl and flipped them over and it would hold its shape....he also played with that for hours with toys in it....cornstarch and water makes a goop it is hard but once its in your hand it melts away its sooo facsinating!! and FUN!!

We have tons more...those are just a few

Are you talking about Fimo clay? We experimented with that several years back and I guess because of the age of the kids it seemed too hard to work with. I should try that again, now that their little hands are stronger.

OMG, my kids have been into freezing their toys since the first time that Burger King came out with the characters from the first Fantastic 4. The invisible woman toy changes to blue when cold so back then they began freezing them in water. That really sparked something. We do water experiments every other week now.

My son is still into collecting rocks and also polishing them. He got a rock polisher several years back for his birthday.

The kids showed an interest in the beads at Legendary Beads so we may be exploring that soon.

Right now we like to color on paper and do chalk drawings.
I love the paper crafts. I even did one last year of a turkey using V's feet and hands.
I keep walking down the isles of craft stuff for kids to do, and I can't wait for her to be old enough to do some of the things. I even have a stash set aside of things for her to use when she gets older.
