Any good BBQ restaurants you want to recommend... We've been to Cattleman's in Petaluma.. and not too impressed with it.. I'm in the mood for beef.. Joe's in the mood for ribs...

Lombardi's Deli. Yummm!
There is one in Petaluma on Old Redwood Hwy at Skillman. You can get food to go or order at the counter and eat there. Super casual.
I think there is also a Lombardi's in Cotati but haven't eaten there.

If you want a really good steak, I would recommend Stormy's in Bloomfield. We haven't tried their ribs and I'm not sure that they serve them, but they have excellent steaks and prime rib. The only thing I don't like about them is you don't get to choose your sides... they serve chowder, salad, bread and whatever veggie they are cooking that day. Plan on bringing home a doggie bag.

I couldn't find a website for Stormy's but here is a link to a Chowhound review http://www.chowhound.com/topics/394407

Washoe house on Stony Point Road is good too. Jerome's BBQ in Petaluma is okay. If Fiesta, Olivers or G&G markets are bbq'ing they always seem to have good food.

Dustin worked at Jeromes when he was in High School. He loves it and is always trying to get me to go there. The few times I have its been ok but a lot of other people like it.

OMG I loooooove Tony Roma's. I ate there like every week when I was pregnant with my son. I like Cattleman's but the one in Livermore is much better than the one here.

TGIFriday's is yummy. Anyone like Outback?

There is a little BBQ place on the corner of Redwood Hwy and Cotati ave in Cotati. Been wanting to check that out. Anyone been there?

Black Bear Diner in RP is pretty good. Large portions too!!!

i love cattlemen's too but i will only go to the one in SR. I hate the one in petaluma. I'm going to have to try a few of those places you gals recommended. If all else fails you can always make some your tri tip that is jsut awesome anyway LOL Tell Joe to go BBQ ;)

Outback annoys me, it is expensive, loud, and I hate how the waiters play that "I'm gonna squat by your table so you will think we are BFF and give me a bigger tip!" game.

Tina- are you thinking of Porter Street on the corner of E. Cotati and LaSalle I think by Olivers? All I have ever had are their tri tip sandwiches and they are pretty good :) Oh wait, you are thinking of the place that used to be a deli by the bead store! Yeah, they are good too!

The first time we went to Outback, I about flipped out when the waiter sat down next to me... I wanted to say "dude, you're invading my personal space, back off". I just gave him the evil eye instead. :lol

i LOVE steak houses. IT's kind of our thing - we go to any steak house we can find.
In CA I really loved Cattlemans, (Outback is always a favorite anywhere), and Texas Roadhouse (which is quite a drive but TOTALLY worth it just for their baked potatoes and rolls with honey cinnamon butter, YUM). Here I love Texas Roadhouse, Saltgrass, and there is a new place we are going to try called Texas Land & Cattle. It's supposed to be like the BEST steak place.

I didn't stock up enough on the mint chocolate cocoa and we are about to run out. I am bummed! It is super good camp out cocoa for the non winter months (as I write about cocoa and am dying of heat exhaustion here...)

Funny... my husband will eat at in and out burger.. but hate's chain restaurants that sport "flair"... Any of you who've seen Office Space know what I'm getting at...

And yes.. Whap to the waiter who tries to lap dance you, or twirl his head propeller for a tip
