So, Dan and I went to River Rock last night to go blow $40. We didn't win anything. :( Well, I won $6 on a machine, but then kept playing with that.
We had fun! A night to be adults!

I was expecting, that since this was in CA, it would be smoke free gambling.

NOPE!!!!!

That was the only bad part. We both started getting headaches and it was somewhat hard to breath in there. Granted they did have air flow, but still.

I totally understand and respect that some of the CA laws don't apply to the Casinos in CA, but it would of been nice to be in a smoke free area. I don't think I saw a smoke free room. I know in Reno they do.

I'm just telling you what we did and letting you know, that incase you were planning on going and expecting a smoke free casino - It's not, as that was something I was not aware of.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been wanting to go have a little fun at a casino, but know now to avoid that one... thanks again!

that really stinks (haha, literally!) as i HATE being around cig smoke. Here, not everything is smokefree and that's difficult b/c I especially avoid smoke when I'm pregnant. :(

Well, Jackie. Maybe you should move back to California. :thumb

Jackie- yeah, when we lived in AR I was preggo with Jessie, and there was this super good diner a few minutes from our house, but it wasn't non smoking, so we only went there the first time... it sucks when there are places you'd love to go, but don't because you (or, *I*) can't stand the smell of cig smoke

kelli: funny you mention that b/c we had that experience last night :(
We went to this little place called Ginger Browns Old Tyme Restaurant thinking it sounded yummy, and the place was like the size of my bedroom, with both smoking and non smoking sections. :rolleyes whats the point if there is no separation between the two, ya know??
