Hi Mommies!
I am new to this board and wanted to get an idea of how many of you would be interested in having a Baby Loves Disco here in the North Bay. It's a place for kids to dance and go nuts. It's held in a club during the day and there is a DJ that plays music for the kids and there's bubbles and all sorts of fun kid stuff. The main website for anyone who wants to check it out is: www.babylovesdisco.com
I am working on bringing one here. The nearest one is in the city, and I know there are a lot of moms further up north who might like to take their kids but it would be too far of a drive.
If anyone who is interested, could please post, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you so much!!
- Rocio

I feel like I have read this before....or maybe I met you in person and you were talking about it. Maybe at Kaiser Mommy and Me???

Hi Lorah! I do remember you from Mommy & Me, but I never talked about this. I couldn't have since I didn't know about it until a few months ago.
I think it would be something fun to bring to the North Bay!

Ohhh I think I know who you are now too. HI!

I think I remember who said something about it, it was Jessica, Theo's mom. I'm pretty sure that's where I heard about it. It sounded cool.

I just saw an advertisement for it in a magazine I was reading. It sounded neat.

It sounds like fun! We get to dance too right? :)

Whether or not we actually go would depend on time of day and cost.

Hi Heather!
Of course the momma's and poppa's get to dance too!! :-)
I believe they are mainly held on Saturdays and it's not every weekend. It's actually every couple of months. And if I'm not mistaken, the cost is around $12 per "walking adult." I believe that is how they phrase it.

How about older siblings?...My 8 year old is known to dance at festivals and even the farmers market when the drumming ladies play...it is rather cute...

Hi Rocio!
Actually, I've been in contact with Andy from BLD about bringing one up here.

Hey Michelle! That's great. When I contacted him recently, he told me that they were a bit overwhelmed at the moment and to check back with him sometime in the winter. What did he tell you?

sounds cool as long as the older kids could dance too.
