I was just telling Salina this morning that today was the first day I have seen 7am in months and I wasn't very impressed.... I did not take any pics though. For those of you that missed it, it was pretty awesome. At one point it was glowing a red/amber color. It was awesome. Lorah 08-28-2007, 07:10 AM Cool! I saw it on the news this morning.....I should have looked out the window being Mav decided to get up like 5 times last night.....Ya, he hasn't done that in AGES!!! Oh well..... jellybeanmichelle 08-28-2007, 09:07 AM I went out in my backyard to try and get a picture of it when it was starting. It's just a white dot with some shaved off. I need a powerful camera to get all the details of the moon. It was kind of cool. The moon shines bright in our bedroom. I woke up a few hours later and it was totally dark. I looked out the window, but didn't see anything. Oh well! Did you know this was the 2nd time this year it happened? I wish it were better, but I was fighting off a swarm of angry mosqitos. becky 08-28-2007, 11:24 AM I got a ton of pictures on my digital camera up until it became the beautiful orange color. Then i had to transfer over to my SLR and mega zoom lens. I will post the pictures later. it was an awesome night and we even woke Kayla up to see it. I didn't go to bed until almost 2 and then I got up at 5:45 and it was too late. Oh well, next time I will make more of an effort.
