Grinding coffee beans in the blender?

Do any of you do it? I forgot to grind my beans when I left costco. So now what? I was thinking of taking them to Safeway to use their grinder, but I need some for tomorrow. Does the blender work well?

We have a cheapy blender so I wouldn't even think about it, but if you have a decent one, it might work. What about a food processor? Those are made for that sort of thing, aren't they?

I don't have one--but I wish I did! I feel like a dope, but I don't want to ruin the coffee or my blender. :)

Seems like it'd mess up your blender to me.
