I believe it. I bought a sharper image air purifier that releases ozone as a by product of the "cleaning" like 3.5 years ago and that thing made me sicker than sick as far as nasal irritation, sore throat, headache, even slight quisiness. I had to sell it at a fraction of the purchase price it was soooo bad :( Ozone is yucky!
