Lynette 09-23-2007, 09:18 PM Oh yeah, I had it set up two weeks ago :D Heroes Bones House Law and Order SVU Kid Nation Private Practice Ugly Betty Grey's Anatomy (just finished season 3 on DVD so am all caught up now!) We're all set for: Heroes The Office Dexter 30 Rock The Unit (I'm not sure when it starts though) I can't wait!!!! DH and I are both teachers so we lesson plan to our shows on Saturday/Sunday nights when Wilson is fast asleep.....sigh, we're getting old. OMG I was laughing outloud, even at the redone intro to the show where they are dancing :biglaugh Salina watched it after I did and we started to both do that loud obnoxious singing to Alaina who thought it was funny at first and then started yelling, "Stop singing! My husband has all sorts of weird ones (IMO) set to tape - Modern Marvels, Food Network shows, etc. . . so we go back and forth about who's show "wins," meaning who gets to tape over the other's show if they are on at the same time. ;) Lorah 09-24-2007, 05:13 PM we don't have DVR or TIVO ....just basic...basic...cable. The only conflicts I have are with Weds. Bionic Woman & Private PRactice on at the samew time, and THursdays Grey's and CSI on at the same time... Theresa 09-26-2007, 11:43 AM I don't have the dvr either, but I'm looking into it. Thurs is my only tv night. The kids have to be bathed before Survivor comes on. Then I watch CSI and ER--both of them look like they will be so good. The season is almost over but I just watched all the episodes I had recorded on the DVR. I love this show!! It's one of my new favorites. If you go into menu, select DVR, Select scheduled recordings, move the day over to thursday and select GA, click the set or cancel a recording, select modify recording setting for this program, go down to stop recording and change it from "on time" to "1 minute late or 5 minutes late" whatever you want, go down to record program with these settings and press ok, press ok again to confirm. HTH I stumbled accross that once and most of the time that works ok but it messes up my scheduling if I have two shows after it that I am recording because then it won't record one. I will have to see if I am recording anything after GA so I can tweak it :) |
