View Full Version : what is your current project??
I'm currently working on recreating the Advent Calendar from Pottery Barn Kids. It's $70 to buy from them, so i'm doing one myself.
I spent my morning making the pattern, and now i'm going to Joann's to get fabric and pick up my new sewing machine. YAY

Oh, so many...Catching up all my work (so maybe I shouldn't be online ;)), hanging shelves, putting up pictures, trying to find the kitchen stuff I'm still missing from when we moved, we need to sod the backyard, cleaning the house...Oh yeah, there's ALWAYS a project. I'm sure I missed something in there! Nothing fun though like what you're doing!

I am finishing up Madeline's first year scrapbook/baby book. I only have halloween and her birthday to do and then I am finished. I always seem to get about 90% done with something and then let it sit there beckoning for me. Hopefully I will get it done before she is two.

Let's see, V was born Oct 2005. I have the family scrapbook done up to New Years Eve 2005. I now have all of 2006 and 2007 to do. Plus, I have to do HER scrapbook. I only have 1 page done on that one.
I just started to crochet a scarf. Liz's craft night got me thinking I should get on doing something. It's only 5"x6" so far, but it looks pretty good. Liz...when is the next craft night???

I currently have two blankets in the works. I'm crocheting them...well....trying..lol.
I am just about done with my pregnancy scrapbook; only one page left, and really its just a matter of glueing it in! I wish my scanner was hooked up cause I'd love to scan it in to show everyone....It has profile pics atarting at 9 week and going up to 38 or 39 I can't remember weeks....pics taken every 2-3 weeks throughout the pregnancy. Its pretty cool!
I just printed out 0-6 month pics for Mav's baby book.....but ummm not sure how I want to do that....I had started, but I don't like it anymore, so I need to rethink the whole thing.
Oh ya, and I'm playing with the ideas for our christmas card for this year. AND I'm trying to figure out the decor for the house this year for christmas...it's our first year in this house.

I am almost done knitting a Christmas baby sweater for my friend's little baby. I have two sets of pillowcases that I am going to monogram for two couples that just recently got married. I have a quilting project I want to start, but haven't. And I need to make some online photobooks for xmas presents. (Yeah Michelle, I'm only through xmas 2005 for Colin's scrapbook too. Haven't even begun one for Eli and probably won't, poor kid.)

I'm just working on the dvd that I want to give to my parents for x-mas. It has photos and video of Jackson from birth up until Thanksgiving. I've got all the photos in (through Halloween) but now I have to put in the background music. That is just so intimidating to me that I haven't touched it in a couple weeks!

I seriously have no time. After work I play with Ava, clean, cook and browse the internet. Right now I am trying to load 6 months worth of favorite pictures to mpix to print for our photo albums and b/c family/friends keep requesting prints. I also have to clean out Ava's closet and make room for the new baby's stuff. Its a master bedroom sized closet and one half is Ava's and the other is general storage. I think I have to find another spot for the general storage and make that the baby's side. Oh to have a garage...

I am working on a Hand Drawn Portrait, and have two more to do after I finish this one. I am working on unpacking, organizing, and setting up my new IKEA stuff!!! I am also working on my Holiday Cards, a few Cloth Photo Books, my website, marketing materials for my group as well as my daycare!!! I have so much to get done that I have not even started on. I have been working on a Portrait that has really challenged me!!! So it has kind of monopolized my time. When I get it done I will be so proud to have conquered it!!! :thumb
There is more, I just don't want to think of it right now till I get past everything else, lol.

I'm sure the person you are doing it for will be very thankful for your effort! Maybe when you are finished you could share it if it was okay?
It's always nice to feel like you accomplished something great! I love being able to feel proud of myself too!
