Noooooooo!

Poor + shy = social suicide in high school. College was nice, though :)

Not so much. It wasn't horriblle... had it's ups and downs... but there is no way I would ever want to "go back".

Geez, there is no "sometimes" response?! LOL! It had its moments but to tell you a secret, I have often daydreamed I was that age and looked that good again with the perky boobs but with my 32 year old no BS brain <g> I would rule the place! Muahahahahaha!

Heck no!

I went to high school in Marin County...it was a disaster!

I moved to Marin at the end of 8th grade (I went to Kenilworth in Petaluma before then) and it sucked because at that age everyone pretty much already belongs to their cliques and it was hard to fit in.

Ugh...try moving in the beginning of your senior year from Montgomery High where being smart was cool and most of the smart kids' parents were white collar to Oakdale, the self-proclaimed Cowboy Capital of World, with 2 stoplights in the whole town and the kids actually tipped cows for fun. I ended up protesting the whole year by refusing to go to my prom and not buying a yearbook, I just did my time.

Before that at Montgomery things were pretty good though :)

I would actually want the body I had in college... I got into running and ran 3 miles a day 6 dys/wk and then did abs and push ups. I was skinny with lots of muscle... boobs were smaller than now but much perkier! :)

I would actually want the body I had in college...

:yeahthat:

Jogging, hiking, walking instead of driving to class and work every day... I was all wiry energy.

*must... start hiking... again...*

I LOVE LOVE LOVED High school... I was in production, so I loved the acting, photography, the boys (hehe, I had some HOTTIES in my class... mmmmmm) and the being young with no real responsibilities yet... some days I still dream about being able to go back for just one day... oh what I would do.. hehe.... (remember Kellie, this isn't in the adult forum.... HAHAHA)

I hated HS. I graduated from continuation school and that wasn't bad but overall, school sucked!!

i loved my fresh year...after that it just went downhill. i just NEVER wanted to be there. my senior year i actually lost credits for ditching to many times and i was unde the amount needed to graduate but i still had a GPA of 3.8 and the lowest grade i had in any class was a B. didnt make sense to me but whatever.

FYI: in my HS if you had an unexcused absense you lost a credit

I was homeschooled...So I LOVED IT! I hung out with my friends that went to the HS down the street, snuck into their rallies, when to lunch with them....but did all my work at home on my time...so really, I got the best out of the deal....I LOVE teaching HS too. I kinda miss it, but I would miss Maverick more if I weren't home with him.

I liked everything but my senior year, it was a very dark time for me. I was invoved in Tennis, I was a Flag Girl, an officer in 4 clubs, and in 5 other clubs.

Way to go Lorah. I wish I had had the opportunity to be homeschooled. I think it would have been a great experience. Well, I too do have the opportunity to homeschool my kids, and love it.
