My husband wants me to buy him the frozen sub sandwiches that can be heated up to bring to work with him. I bought them for him once just for something different but I think it is outrageous to spend that much when we could probably make our own for cheaper....and tastier results. So I was wondering if anyone has any good recipes for hot sandwiches?

We like the Caprese ones, either cold or hot...just mozzarella, tomatoe and basil....Easy!

Maritza: Sounds like something I should try for myself! Sounds yummy! On the otherhand my hubby has to have meat with whatever he eats....if I ever try to feed him something vegetarian he asks where the meat is.
Julia: Sounds good, I have always been hesitatn with horseradish but I bet my dh would love it. Do you recommend a brand? Or is it all the same?

I think pretty much any sandwich could be hot as long as you don't put in the mayo, tomato, and lettuce so you could make extra chicken breasts when making dinner and slice them up with cheese and marinara for a chicken parmasean type sandwich, hot pastrami with cheese, meatball sandwhich with marinara and mozzarella, pulled pork or BBQ beef, Thanksgiving leftover sandwhich, but at our house we are into grilled cheese with a bunch of extra stuff but I dunno how well that would re-heat, you know?
