Alessa is definately in the "Spirited" area... The past few days I think I need some spiritual guidance to get through this stage of powerplay

Ava is definitely a grumpy toddler although I prefer the word assertive.

Maverick is a "Spirited, Grumpy Toddler" as he is a perfect combo of those two.

Colin is the Grumpy one and Eli is the Textbook one. But, like anything, they have parts from all of the types.

Salina was definitely the Angel Toddler and Alaina is Spirited with Grumpy days here and there.
I agree with you Kathleen, I dunno that I like the term "grumpy" either, because it isn't that but is more like determination or persistance.

Hmmm, Taylor is definitely Spirited, a little Touchy, a little Grumpy all rolled into one. Why couldn't I have the Angel??? :) That's ok, she's perfect just the way she is...on most days...

I always wonder how they can categorize like that. Anyway, I am anxious to see what kind of toddler Caitlin will be!:)
brendan, i think, is a mix of all of them minus angel and grumpy (he's not the easy toddler, but he's also not a grouch or mean spirited when he doesn't want to do something). I'd say primarily he's the spirited child as he gets frustrated with himself a lot, and doesn't understand why he can't do things the way he thinks he can in his mind (ie. "Why don't all of these balls fit into this bowl for me to carry into the other room? I had it all planned out that they would all fit and now they don't. I'm frustrated by that")

Ava is not mean spirited in any way. She just likes things done her way and gets upset if they are not. It's not like she is a little devil child.
Funny thing is that everyone says she gets her stubbornness from me. I may be stubborn now but as a kid I was the angel child. I wonder how Ava will turn out then...

I know she's not. Notice how i said "OR" as in "two different reactions to a situation".... grouchy OR mean spirited.

Ya, I think that Mav although similar to both I mentioned before certainly doens't have the mean or devil child mentality....he just really wants to have things his way, and when he doesn't get it his way he gets grumpy....he is actually such a lover when it comes down to it....
What I always find interesting with these molds, it is just goes to show you that people don't always fit into a predesigned mold or personality label. kwim?
If you aren't sure, take the quiz. It said Mia was textbook, but I think I need to reanswer some of those questions...

That test was hard to take...on most of the questions I had to guess what would be best becuause the question didn't give a good choice for an answer.. and a few times there were two answers that were equally the same importance.....does that make sense? So I took it twice....and came up with the spirited and the grumpy....just like I thought...

I just took it and Eli is Textbook like I thought. I didn't realize the quiz was for little toddlers so the answers didn't really work for Colin. I tried and it said textbook. I guess this could be true, but he is a super control freak and gets very worked up about things. Maybe that's just "textbook" for 3 yr olds. LOL

Logan comes out as Angel which is what I thought. He is just realy easy going... so far but we are 2 weeks short of being a "toddler"

Caden is a little old for this but I tried to base how he acted it on the age range they are referring to... but he tested as spirited. Which I find kind of funny because as a baby, he was textbook.
I took the quiz and he showed as spirited - which is what i assumed he'd be
Although, there were several questions where the answers given didn't really fit.
for instance:
When I leave the room, my toddler:
Should have had an option of "doesn't give a crap. continues what they are doing and has no concern over where i've gone"
LOL

Exactly! And it depends what they are talking about....at home or at someone else's house? I mean, at home they could care less. At another house Colin could care less, but Eli will freak.

I took the quiz.. and surprisingly.. Alessa also scored in the Textbook range.. many of the questions didn't even seem to apply...
Fun to do either way
