Everyday, non-celeb parents do these same things with their kids... drugs, drinking, drive without a license or erratically, etc and their kids stay in the home because there is no high powered attorney pressuring the court to hand over custody. I'm not sure how I feel about this because although I certainly don't think that any of this is responsible parenting, at least in Britney's case she probably has multiple nanny's around. Non celeb parents that are doing all this crap and keeping their kids, don't usually have nanny's or other in home support staff. Also, how much of our tax money is this costing, every time K-Fed and Brittany go to court? Good point, my second family had foster kids over the years and the stories they would tell and how many chances the parents got would just sicken you.
