That is really cool Tracee. I'm going to start checking that one out. DH loves cool tshirts. I went to the wine one and there was a bonsai and I was thinking, "huh?"....it says:

Oh, yes! I've never bought anything from that, but I'd bet you can find some nice wines for a decent price.

it's funny b/c Woot is based out of Dallas right near us, and they are known for good deals and such, but their customer service S.U.C.K.S.
seriously. They flat out tell their customers "we offer great deals, we don't offer customer service"
but i always get a chuckle when I drive past the woot building.

I suppose that's why they have great deals. Good CS is expensive! You have to pay people decently, have training, and follow up to make sure your customers get good service. It's a big PITA.

Ooooo, it's so strange to hear that you can put a face to it. I knew it was based out of TX somewhere but didn't really know where. I always have these thoughts about websites that the "people" who work there are so intangible and they just pop in and out of nowhere. The web is such a strange thing :)

I ended up getting two Woot shirts, one for DH and one for my bro for Christmas. They were both perfect and both guys wore them right away. I still check the site out every day and I'm tempted to get today's shirt since it reminds me of Don Quijote....the book I read in Spanish for my final project for Language Studies at UCSC. :)
