The technology is growing faster than the laws!

That's true, although very sad. If she was being bullied at school, something would have happened, I'm sure. Especially if it was documented.

At the very least, that family has to live with the fact they drove that poor girl to kill herself. Too bad the law couldn't get them too. Maybe a civil suit??

Dh and I have had some stong conversations concerning this particular case. I'm NOT a happy camper that that woman isn't getting a more serious legal charge.

I am not well read on the subject but the lady sure seems pretty flippant about the whole thing from what I have read. But I guess I tend to be the exact opposite, tending to blame myself when things go wrong thinking 'if only I had done more' (like being asked to pray and I didn't pray enough fe) so maybe that clouds my perspective?? It seems like the woman is like 'well I didn't supply the rope did I" and "let kids be kids"... and now her "employee" started it up. Like did she hire someone to do this or is that just coincedental???

its so upsetting to see stuff like this where crimes go unpunished becuase the laws have not caught up yet. That poor mother who lost her child will not be able to seek justice for her child but maybe she can help pass a low to help other children.

I totally agree and tend to think that if someone else brought along the suicide of her own daughter, she wouldn't be so flippant about it.
