I don't normally watch her show, I think she should have stuck to modeling personally, but yesterday the TV was on and I looked up and she was trying to teach some makeup tricks and tips to the audience. OMG! She was telling them to bring the eyeshadow down the side of the nose for cat eyes, use white eyeliner to make your eye look wider and not so tired, and to lightly press the mascara wand to your lower lid so you look like you have more lashes! LMAO! She looked like a freak when she was done and she was all excited looking in the camera saying, "Look at that eye! POP! See how good it looks!" Oh it was too much!
Salina will be 13 next month which is when she will be allowed to wear makeup but we are going to take her to someone who can show her how and teach her about her colors and she happened to be in the room while this was going on. She looked at me and said, "I think Tyra needs some lessons too!" LOL!

Her show is horrible!
She just got renewed for another year too.

i've never watched her show b/c i agree that she should have stuck to modeling! but for Alaina... maybe take her to the mall to an Origins counter. their makeup is great and "natural"... no scary colors like at MAC ( i love MAC but not for a 13 yr old in my opinion). and they can show her how to do her make-up. plus they use to keep track on a customer card whay colors you bought so you could always get stuff replaced without remembering the name of the color!

Cool I was thinking of looking in the phone book or going to Macy's I didn't know there were other stores that did it too :)
LOL! Alaina is the toddler in the pic, Salina is the teen <g> I should find/take a pic with the both of them though! Thanks for the info!!
lol, i loev her show, but i've seen another episode where she did the white eyeliner trick.... i think those tricks DO work... but she doesn't sdo them to herself... there are professionals who can make it work ;)

Yeah, the white eyeliner one actually works, but that other stuff was crazy! LOL!! (I saw yesterday's show too) LOL!!
Her show kinda sucks because she seems so fake when she tries to act serious, like she's doing it for the camera only, but I can't stop watching it sometimes....maybe it's because its the time of day where I want to relax on the couch, and there's nothing else on tv...ha ha!! It's def. NOT a favorite of mine!

Oh I am sure all of that stuff might work if she wasn't putting them ALL on at once at like mach 5 and then opening her eyes crazy wide like a speed freak! LOL!
I think the one episode I caught that made me want to flick her the most was the one where she wore the fat suit and CRIED trying to empathize with the fat girls who can't take of their "suits".
