What I made my BIL for Christmas...

Well, I finally got my camera working, and decided to start taking some pics of what I've made so far... Just the one for tonight, but tomorrow or Sunday I'll try to add more... BUT.. here's a shirt I made for one of my BIL's ...

here is one right after I finished.. the broke-down box is inside to keep it from bleeding through to the back of the shirt...

:) thanks.... I made it using a stencil (which I made from Freezer paper... LOVE that stuff! you cut it out, and then iron it onto the fabric... it has a waxy coating on one side which allows it to stick wonderfully, and then it peels right off) and I painted it with acrylic paint and medium (1:2) I made a shirt for each of the girls when I was practicing (theirs says Lamb of God... a band name, but I also just liked the way it looked ;) ) and the next one is for another BIL... gonna have the Brave Little Toaster on it :D

I will admit, though, it took me a few minutes to *get* the joke (on the shirt) when I first saw it... I'm slow, what can I say... lol

Okay, sooooo I LOVE it.....but I like it beacuse of the literary suggestion!!!!! you all know that is a text book for teaching grammar; specifically punctuation. (Which I know when I'm on here is seriously lagging :bag)

That's how i do some of my shirts or diapers that I paint...except yours is way cooler how you can peel it off...I use heavy card stock and use a little razor to cute out the pattern...but I can't iron onto PUL or it will melt....here is a cute idea for the kids...

I also love this one...How I did this was printed a pic of it...taped it on a book, slipped the book between the fleece and the pul of the diaper so you can see the tree through the PUL and then paint over what you see, customizing it to your liking...I found the tree online and the monkey online on a free coloring book site...other times I just freehand stuff
