I keep picking movies to watch that either make me cover my eyes half the movie or cry through the whole thing. Anyone have recommendations for "happy" movies?
I just watched Last King of Scotland which I've been wanting to see for a while. It was certainly an eye opener and suspensful but not relaxing. Also recently watched We Are Marshall. I cried through 75% of the movie. Just so sad. Made the huge mistake a few weeks ago by going to see I am Legend at the theater.
Need some balance in my movie choices. Clearly I need help so let me know if you have seen any good movies recently. We mainly pick from Comcast On Demand and HBO.

Have you seen The Waitress? It is out on DVD. That is a cute, feel-good movie.

Thanks everyone. I have been wanting to see the Waitress and I think that is on HBO right now. Loved the Great Debaters!! With the Oscar nominees out there are so many to see.
How does Netflix work? Do you get new releases? How much is it?

OMG, we just rented this! I was cracking up... way funnier than I expected and they were very respectful of the topic which I was afraid would be distasteful.

This was very cute too!

I really like the movie Firefly. It is kind of a sad story to start off, and you think it is going to be a scary one, but it is not and ends up so hopeful and happy in the end. I love the emotional depth of it. Wonderful movie with Kevin Costner, it really touched my heart.
On DVD...The Game Plan looks cute.
Other than that I stay pretty behind the times with movies so by the time it is on sale on DVD it is new to me, lol. Good luck!
