Hehehe ya, well I am pretty good at *seeing* what people are talking about so long as the description and direction is good. Guess that means you are good at it. :) I forgot what you said to use as filling, so I used the left over little scraps from that material in one of them, and in the other two I used folded up old towel that I cut into pieces. I figure that would work. Seems to be fine so far.

Those are great. The blankets are nice gifts, too. My sister made all the kids on her Christmas list those for gifts in 2006. My kids still have their's and use them daily.

Very cute. We have a Nemo one and I've always wanted to make another, but with a different design. The only thing is the blanket is so small. It was a present and I think it came in a kit. Does the fabric come larger? Did you make it out of regular fleece? The monkeys are really cute.

Yah I suggested to use pillow filling, but I'm sure what you used would be fine...also don't forget you can also make the blocks out of felt too :) you could also get really creative and make play felt food too...like a over easy egg, a banana, cookies, pancakes etc...Here's a really cute example of how detailed you can get with felt food...

Yes you can make them bigger. The one my sister made for Jessica is definately bigger than the ones she made for Jules and James.

Yes, just fleece from the fabric store. I had them cut it off the huge roll(or whatever its called) of it. It was about 54" wide already and I had them cut just over that so it would be a little longer on than wide.

I love those lorah! Where did you find the directions for making the blanket? The blocks are so cute too!

Lorah

Rachel, I didn't use directions. I saw a picture and copied it. It isn't that hard really. You lay two pieces of fleece on top of each other, cut the corners off. Then make 6 inches cuts into all the sides and then tie the top to the bottom with a square knott. I could show you. Its really easy!
