Why am I unable to copy and paste pictures into the space where I type my message? I have tried it even from a word doc. Any suggestions?

to get your photos to post in a message you need to host them on something like photobucket or flickr. I can't find the exact thread that tells you how to do this but i'm sure someone will chime in

From the FAQ's:

"Before sharing photos on our site, it is best if they are resized. Using any photo editing software, please resize your image to approximately 600 pixels on the largest side, at 72 dpi. Method 1: Manage Attachments (must be a paid member) Using this method will put your image as a thumbnail within a thread. Members can then click on the thumbnail to view the larger version. ~ If creating a new post, after writing your post, scroll down to find the 'Manage Attachments' option. Click on the 'Manage Attachments' button. That will pull up a window that will allow you to upload up to five images. Use the 'Browse' button to find the file on your computer, then click 'Upload'. Once you have uploaded all of the images you'd like to share (you'll have to split them into groups of five per reply), close the window and return to your post. When you submit your post, your photos will be thumbnails within your post. ~ If replying to a post, you'll need to 'Go Advanced', then follow the above instructions. Method 2: Linking to an image hosted on another site (do not need to be a paid member) There are two methods of getting the same result here, and I'll post both of them. ~ You can upload your picture to an online hosting site like Photobucket, resize your image, then right click on the image, and copy the URL from the properties. Then return to SCM and create your post. To get the image into your post, click on the image icon (mountain) and paste the url for your image. ~ The second method using Photobucket starts out the same- upload your image and resize. Then, below your thumbnail in Photobucket are some codes. Just copy the code that starts with [ IMG ] (no spaces), then return to SCM and paste that code into your post."
