HI everyone,

I am sure everyone has heard about Kidspot, but for those of you who haven't, it's a great place, especially for early walkers-2.5 yo., even 3. Kidspot just opened last year, and I really want it to survive, since I have used it many times with my 2 kids, esp. in 'in a pinch' desperation to have my kids have something to do on a rainy day. I know summertime is slow season for Paloma, who is the owner and also mom of two young kids. I know some consider the entry fee a bit pricy ($6 for kids, $3 for adults...but I would hate to see this business fail!

It is a fun spot . My two kids(11 months and a little over 3 years )have been there a few times. Toob Town in Rohnert Park is another fun place. Thanks for their website to Kidspot. We will check it out again. It has been awhile since we have been there.

I too keep meaing to check it out and keep forgetting. Maybe I'll take the kids on a week when Sevannah doesn't have swim lessons.

Paloma, the owner of kidspot in sebastopol, is a really nice woman. I have spoken to her a few times and she is interested in having "mom's night out" where parents can drop their kids off and go out. This would be really fun with a group of kids that all knew each other. My playgroup hasn't been super respnsive to this, but, if anyone else is interested in organizing it, go for it!

I'd love the idea, but with a 1 y/o in the throws of stranger anxiety, it might not be the best bet. LOL.
we'll hafta go check it out sometime though!

Sounds like a nice idea. Would depend on price and what age kids she would allow. I personally have a 11 yr old girl, 8 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl. Price x 3 is what usually has me back away from something that sounds like fun/that we would like.

I think it says it's 6$ per kid and and free for adults if you do a playdate

Price wise I was talking about the parents night out(if they organize one). Far as going with kids to Kidspot-we did it once with the Rohnert Park Cotati Moms club for a discounted rate of like $5 per kid and adults free(or something like that). I don't think my older two would like it enough to pay the reg price of $6 per kid over 1 yr and $3 per adult(I think thats what reg price is).

yeah. If she was doing a large group of kids though, I'd assume that pricing is the same as for a playdate.

Speaking of MNO when is the next one?
I might be able to get my MIL to watch the boys and can meet up with you all...
