I am so excited! I started taking Seasilver (http://www.seasilver.com/solar) again, it has been several years since I first started taking it. Back then I lost 40 lbs in just 6 weeks. I had my doubts that it would happen again, but still had some kind of faith. I have been on it for a little over 2 weeks now.
When I went to my Parent Pack meeting on Monday I wore my jeans, which I had not worn for a while. They are 2-3 inches larger than my waist now.
I am so excited. I was horrified a few months ago when I stepped onto a scale at some store. I was 202. Now I am shrinking. Yeah! :upthumb
yay! how exciting! What is seasilver and how do you use it? What's the benefit supposed to be?
I've got 20 more lbs I'm ready to lose that I gained between being married and getting pregnant, but the rest (32lbs) I lost doing tedious exercise and eating salads a LOT

Yay - Congratulations. I need to lose about 60 pounds. Is that something you can take while BF'ing? (I guess I should just go read the site)

Yikes $300 - I think that I"d just rather walk for free.
holy crap... you can ONLY get the 300$ package? I was hoping you could jget just a bottle or two for like 20$, kwim?
Yeah, my last 20lbs isn't worth 300$ to me. Think I'll stick with finding a spinning class. LOL

I'm with you on that one Jackie and JeriAnne! I was at my prepreg. weight at my 6 wks post-partum appt (after Jazper) but I still have about 20lbs to lose to get back to the weight I was when we got married almost 4yrs ago! And walking like I do everyday is affordable... being free and all! If only I could kick my ice cream habit! LOL I really need to make the time to do ab work... there are rather flabby after having two kids!:)
i don't remember how long it took me to get to my prepreg weight but i know it was several months.. I think arund his 6 months timeframe i was back to it. Then I've kind of stood still and lost one or two lbs every once in a while. The problem is we go on so many trips that i get doing well, then go on vacation and gain it all back. LOL

And I'm confused... after reading info on the website it's just a liquid multi-vitamin with minerals in it. Why is it so special? And how does it make you lose weight? I'll stick to what I know really works... a balanced diet, plenty of water, and at least an hour of cardio exercising a day.

Interesting!
It feels like I am taking longer to lose the weight this time, but maybe I am just being anxious. I definitely don't have $300 for the weight loss stuff, though. I was planning to join a gym when Erica is old enough to be watched by the day care people there.
Yay for you losing weight! I feel like I have gained, if that is even possible. Ugh. My tummy is like a spare tire.

No, it looks like you can buy it by the bottle for $39.95 http://www.seasilver.com/solar/order.aspx so if you drink an ounce a day and Tina lost 40lbs in 6 weeks that is $52.34 or $1.31 a pound :) Shoot that is cheaper than a gym membership! LOL! I just want to know how it works now.
wow, lynette. do you work for seasilver? ;)
That sounds much better. I wanna know how it works too. I'm leary of putting things in my body when I don't know how they work.

Well you are actually supposed to take 2 ounces a day for the first month and then 1-2 ounces after that depending on weight ;). But I see your point. And this is one of those "results not typical things" like they have on the WW and Jeny Craig ads. You may loose weight, but you may not and it is not a claim SS can make without getting in trouble.

Hey ladies,
I order by the case and usually share it so that all the expense does not fall on me. This way I still get it at wholesale, and I can save up for it. This helps me to maintain my Seasilver needs. I hightly recommend it.
My kids and I take the product. My daughter had severe digestive issues which began at just 6 months old. She was solely breastfed then so I stopped consuming dairy, and it did not help. We struggled with it for about another year constantly feeding her a lot of fruit, prune juice, flax oil, and no dairy. She has been underweight for her age since the developement of her digestive issues. She also struggled with chronic ear infections. When she began taking the product sometime between 15 and 18 months she did not constipate at all, could consume dairy, actually gained weight & filled out for the first time since 6 months old. The Chronic ear infections stopped. She also did not get sick as often, and when she did she simply was a bundle of energy in between her long recouperative naps which was a big change for her.
My son has struggled with Severe Chronic Ear Infections since he was around 15 months. He also had mild digestive issues. He had the surgery to put tubes in his ears after 4 months of straigh ear infections accompanied by 5 different antibiotics. During that period my son had an allergic reaction to one of the antibiotics, and got severely sick from the rest. He basically had 6 poopy diapers which overflowed his diaper, each hour. This then led to an infection of some type in his penis, due to it being constantly submerged in runny feces. It was rough after the operation, kids do not respond well to being put under. Then within a week or so of the surgery the ear infections started again.
When my son was 4 he started taking the Seasilver. The ear infections stopped, his appetite increased, and his ability to digest improved. His behavior, focus, and mood improved, same with my daughter. He also did not get sick as often, and when he did he responded very much the same as my daughter did.
My husband's foot fungus cleared up while he was on Seasilver. As for me, besides the weight loss my insomnia, which I had dealt with since Jr High, stopped. The need for an afternoon nap also stopped. I had a natural lasting energy throughout the day, my unhealthy cravings like milk chocolate and pastries decreased, as did my appetite. My mood improved drastically. My periods reduced to 2 or 3 days as opposed to 8-10 days. The cramping, bloating, and moodiness were minimal.

I say whenever you are considering a new suppliment, food, etc. research the ingredients. Take each one and research it by name. See what you are getting into. I have been very fussy about what goes into my kid's bodies because they have had so many struggles with their health.
I have also discovered that most foods ESPECIALLY diet foods contain ingredients which are addictive and cause us as Americans to overeat, and/or continue eating unhealthy foods. This is why most diets fail. The concept of Seasilver is that "Nature" contains a balance, whereas man made/simulated foods/suppliments do not.
Results do vary with each person. The reason for this is that each of us have a different diet, different environmental toxins and therefore different health needs.
Ingredients:
Silver
I do not know if you have heard about the wonderful properties of colloidal silver. But colloidal silver is metallic and if you take too much you turn blue. Not a good thing. Well the silver found in Seasilver is actually non-colloidal. This simply means that it is non-metallic or plant based.
Matrix Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is very well known for its healing properties/health benefits. The "Matrix" simply is a phrase used by Seasilver to set its Aloe Vera apart. Seasilver's aloe vera fields produce Larger Aloe Vera plants with a higher concentration of it's beneficial properties, and in a shorter amount of time.
Sealogica
Proprietary Blend of 7 Sea Vegetables. Provide a wide variety of nutrients, and are from the coldest purest waters avoiding mercury and other contamination.
Pau D' Arco
The inner bark taken from The Divine Tree, which is used in South America as a home remedy. 411: Pau D' Arco contains alchohol in its natural form. Seasilver boils the bark to release the oils which in turn boils away the alcohol content.
Concentrated Juice Blend
It's for taste! I probably would not take Seasilver if I had to drink Seaweed and Aloe Vera witout these juices for taste, lol.

Your right Lisa,
Seasilver is not allowed to make these claims. Unfortunately that is how our society works. No nutritional suppliment is allowed to. That is just my opinion.
I as a client and/or distributor am allowed to share my results since taking Seasilver. Just as I have a right to tell other Moms about a really good toy for toddlers, or a really good hairdresser. I am not allowed to say that Seasilver will make you thin, or cure cancer, etc.
Seasilver does not guarantee that every person taking the product will lose weight, but they do guarantee that if anyone is not satisfied with the product all they have to do is return the empty bottles of their initial purchase for a full refund within 60 days. The 60 day period allows for the possible detox that usually occurs within the first 30 days or so. Since Seasilver does not charge shipping to the client how can you go wrong?
We are all different, and our nutritional needs may vary this is why results vary. I don't think that if all of us watched the same movie we would have the same opinions either, just like someone who eats at McDonalds every day would not have the same health as someone who only eats organic heatlhy home prepared meals.
As far as the per poud ratio, I do not think of it that way. Just like I do not think of the cost difference between organic or non-organic carrots, buying a winter coat for your kids or not, etc. I know that my family's health & safety is the one thing I try not to put a price on! I struggled to get my Seasilver initially, but felt that the Pros outweighed the Cons.
Sorry I have rambled on enough!

so you're a distributor for seasilver?

I just recently signed up to become a wholesale buyer/distributor because while losing weight so many of my friends and family wanted the product. I figured the extra income would be nice. There are 4 people now on it with me besides my immediate family, 2 of them are not friends or family and there are more than a half dozen other interested.
It wais hard supplying myself, my 2 kids, and my Dad who suffers from Myasthenia Gravis (very similar to MS) on a Stay/Work at home Mom budget. The few orders that I profit from help me to maintain my family's supply. Not to mention now I have to consider shopping for some new pants, shorts, & skirts, lol!
I don't plan on devoting a lot of time to it as a business as my http://www.tinasphototreasures.com is my passion!
I just have been impressed with the overall health improvements of my family since starting to take the Seasilver. So I am glad to share our results with other families!
