I just want to rave about our broker. He is the best. We were referred to him by our realtor (my dad's girlfriend, Judy James). His name is Jim Hennessey and he is the VP of the company. He is so down to earth and doesn't make you feel like an idiot at all. He has like 8 grandaughters and is really into harleys LOL.
Anyway, we bought our place 5 years ago and our mortgage is becoming adjustable in November so we wanted to go see what we should do (refinance, buy up, etc). He got us into such a good loan and rate that we are just going to wait it out and see if we can find a better rate after it adjusts. He was telling us that since this sub prime loan bust they have not had one of their clients default on their loans. He said that they didn't put anyone in those risky mortgages and stand behind their products 100%.
