R.I.P.

As I am sure you have guessed, my camera has died an untimely death. It was acting odd up in clear lake. The battery, it said, was low, and then it refused to turn on. I know I was using it for awhile with the low icon showing up, so maybe the batteries coroded? I don't know, but it keeps freezing up, or the whole thing turns off without the lens going back in. If I take the batteries in and out, sometimes I can get one shot or I can manage to turn the thing off after multiple tries with it blacking/freezing up. It has died. Just as well, I hated the thing, but it was our ONLY camera. I know we can get a Canon SLR NICE digital for like $200, but we won't have that much for at least a month or so. A month is a long time in baby events. I am very, very, VERY sad. Rest in peace, Canon Powershot A75! Rest In Peace.

*cries*

Thanks!!!

I am poor though and I do love to do it myself as well. *sniff* poor Blinky!

as an aside, it appears to still be working, uh, sometimes. So all is not lost?

Sorry to hear your camera has died or is having a slow death.
We just ordered a Canon Powershot S3. Can't wait for it to get here.
So far we liked the S2 that we were able to play with in the stores, and decided to upgrade.
I'll be nice and share my camera :photo

Ah, ok :) I think blinky is back to life now anyhow. Apparently the issue is heat/humidity related.
