I will offer my two cents on this...

I am a bit surprised that SCOE is offering this presentation. From what I have heard about the presenter, from a few different sources, is that he is not an expert.

He refers to his "research" when he gives presentations, but what he is refering to is research of other people's work. He's never done his own scientifically based study.

He went through the credential program at ssu but never became a teacher. He did some substituting, poorly. I was told by one teacher that all he did was sit and read the newspaper.

He has something against feminism/feminist that I believe is his motivating factor. At a recent presentation he gave at the Petaluma Mothers Club, he spoke poorly of female elementary school teachers and said that male elementary school teacher were a bit effeminate.
