That's what dh likened it to anyway lol. They're calling it "Parent Palooza." It's a benefit dance/party for the Rancho Cotate Music Department, and you don't have to have a kid at the school to go, it's open to anyone who'd like a night out. Hors 'deurves(sp?) will be provided by Sally Tomatoes, live music by Stagefright, and there will be a no-host bar.

the date is april 12th, not march, right?

It's A p r i l 12th lol. And yes, you can dress up, but you don't have to.

I just remembered that D H is going to be out of town that weekend. :( Guess I will have to wait for another prom.

I know a few people who went. They all agreed that it was AWESOME!!! I will definitely go next year.

I went (of course, since it was a benefit for dh's program). It was really good - the band was awesome, and the $1 jello shots were popular lol!
