Loving this dress...action pics hehe

Recently I have been making diapers...and never really venturing far from that like I used to...well I recently bought a dress for skye and loved the fit...well I was at joanns and got a remnant for 1.88 and thought it would be sooo cute in the same style dress I had bought her...so I got home, traced around the dress, cut it out and serged/sewed it up and added some trim and made a matching headband with the trim lace stuff... here are a few pics! :) I love how it looks great with her amber necklace too :)

THANKS!!!!! I just posted about my appointment while you were writing your post to this! How was yours??? haha...and I would LOVE to have a sewing date!! I have been dying to show you how easy it is to make stuff!

Oh by the way I got a cool sleep sack from the give away basket that is lined in terry so if she leaks it can soak it up, and not get all over her sheets!!!!!!

That's cool! I took a quick gander through it, but Matt and the kids were there and waiting to go, so I didn't really get a good look.. but glad you found somethign you could use ;) and hey, just tell me when to come over and I'm there... LOL

Yep I remember V wearing those sandals too...I need new ones for Skye because hers are 2's and she is about out of them.....and sorry but your mothers sewing skills are 20 times better than mine...I thought you bought that hat she made her...and mine, well you could tell I made it hehehe

erin I would have donea matching dipe...But sadly the remnant was JUST big barely big enough for the dress...I intended on making a head wrap, but only had enough for a bow so I had to make do...

OH YOU SHOULD!!!! I want you to...and if I didnt have 50 kids I would go to craft night...I need you knitters to teach me!! I would love some wool soakers and longies and hats for the babies, but I refuse to even bother since I can't make them myself I don't wanna shell out 50 bucks for a pair of pants!

I love that dress! I wish I got the sewing gene from my mom. She sews for a living. I can't stand it myself, but sometimes I get the itch when I see really great fabric!
