Okay, so this poll may be a little confusing, but the answers come in pairs.
So for each set, choose which one applies to you.
(you can tell a set b/c they will start with the same description, ie: Monthly Recipe)
I'm trying to find out what people have liked in the last 2 newsletters and what they dont' really care about.
also, if you have any other suggestions, post them here.
And please post other comments and suggestions here :D

Perhaps, if there was a weekly or bi-weekly on going park day it could be in the calendar.... people either show up or they don't. I'm sure everyone will post about going irrelevant of the news letter. They could be on different days in different cities.
For example: Mondays Northern Santa Rosa, Wednesday in Rohnert Park and Thursdays in Petaluma. Always at the same time and same park or rotate the park for the area.
Just a thought.

we have tried to do that inthe past, but haven't had anyone who could commit to hosting/planning one each week.
If anyone would like to host a weekly playdate in their area, I'd be more than happy to include that on the site/newsletter! :thumb

On that note of hosting a regular playdate...I *will* be up for it soon...Not yet though...I'll let everyone know when....Since we have a nice big yard, and I'm here most days watching an additional kid, I'm all over having a regular one....we just want to get the garden in, and tidy up a bit more first...sooooo ya.....not just yet, but by May sometime I'm game for that. And when I am ready for it, I'd love to put it in the news letter.

Would it be legal to include a copy of mom/woman or child related news or research? Like the April one could have had some autism info for austism awareness month, etc? Maybe announcements could include a kind of brag section for milestones?? I really like the community event stuff because I am not always aware of what is going on.
unfortunately, no. They would be copyright protected.
If anyone wants to submit the milestone type stuff, we can give that a whirl next month :D

What about offering for the individuals that make and sell things, as members of this group offer free or discounted advertising?
I also can think of mentioning a book review: either childrens, adult (parent) or both... and a toy review.
Support for local businesses, either retail, restaurant or recommendation for "contract" work for your house (like an electrician) - review type comments (good and bad). Basically expand the restaurant review area to cover other things.
Set up a monthly or bi-monthly field trip to a local farm or dairy, the Jelly Belly factory, fish hatcher, sticker factory or beach for a picnic.

I wouldn't mind helping with this. Since we have more members I think we need to do the firehouse again. The post office etc... What about a review of places you have gone. Is it good to take the kids or leave them at home? Stoller accessible? Bathrooms? etc....And then we can all take a trip there.
Example, Crane Creek. It's hiking some, and it might be stroller accessible, but not with the one I have. kwim?
We do have the Safari West trip coming up in June.
Jackie, Do I send an e-mail to webmaster or newsletter to have stuff added to the newsletter?

:yeah That would be good to have with the e-mail as a reminder.
the deadline would be to send it within the month. IF we get it before May 1, then it will likely go in the may letter.
