This Sunday at the fair there is a baby crawling contest at 2pm. If your little one is under a year then they can participate. Sign in time is 1:45.
We are going to go and check it out. Cause the following Sunday Andy turns 1:photo

We just went to the fair today, but I'm thinking about going again just for that. I would also like to go back after the fair on Aug 8 at 8am and buy some flowers.
how cool. how much does it cost to get in? I'd like to go to the fair tomorrow.

That diaper derby looks too cute! Maybe I can bring Alaina and she can be the ringer :D
I was wondering if anyone knows if on the $1 ride days they have advertised, are only certain rides a $1 or all of them? I was thinking of having Salina bring a friend but if only the boring rides are a $1 I will end up spending too much.
Michelle- we went to the flower sale last year for the first time and although it was pretty crazy and packed, I did get some good deals. I bought a blue hydrangea for $10 that had 3 blooms on it last year and this season has quadrupled in size already so there have been at least 12 blooms and I bought a maiden hair fern for less than $5 which I was sure I killed but it came back this year. I have one spot in my yard that is always shady and the plants they have there are mostly shade plants because they are indoors so I don't have to do too much reading to figure out if they will work for me or not :)
anyone goign to the fair today? We're thinkin about it

We went last Thursday. We always try to go on wristband day for the rides. All the kids had a blast on the rides. Jules was able to go most of the rides in the kiddy area as she is just 36 inches tall.
yeah, we hafta go today (which is not my 1st choice due to ho jmwnay people will be there) cuz JR goes out of town starting tomorrow :(

We might go later this afternoon if James gets off work early enough. If not we'll go tomorrow. We're hoping sevannah will enjoy the kid section this year b/c she's just at 36" tall too so she'll be able to ride the rides.
Then we're (me and the kids) going on Thursday with my parents, my brother/his girlfriend/his two kids, and my friends Mary and her little boy Jeremy who's 2wks younger than Jazper.

we are going on Tuesday. I just can't pass up the free day and the wristbands. I hope if we go early enough we can beat the heat and the crowds.
went today. it was packed (which is to be expected) but fun :)

We are going. We are going at noon. Watch the 1st horse race and then head over to the diaper derby.
not us. jr's gone to a golf tourney for 2 days and id on't dare try to manage parking and toting a 1 year old through those crowds alone.

We're going again. I'm bringing my Mom and maybe my sister.
See you there Michelle!
